Michellin starred chefs had already fallen for the exceptional quality and taste of Islands Chocolate when I started working with them, but their D2C channel wasn’t matching up. As one of the >0.1% of chocolate producers that own their entire supply chain they had a relatively high price point but the unique story was getting lost.

This meant the challenge was to create a new brand that suited the premium price point whilst also telling the rich story of their Caribbean farms and the superior flavour.

The result was an updated cut of their logo, new Caribbean inspired colours and typography, a versatile illustration style and a brand new eCommerce store. The new tins are now stocked in major retailers such as John Lewis and Selfridges.
